I am somewhat obsessed with Misfits. I can't help it. I love it soooooooooooo much. I can't wait for series 2 to start!!!! i want it noooooooooow!!!

( Cut for Spoilers for Series 1 (because i'm a horrible person who totally watched the rest of it on youtube) )

but yeah. Misfits is AWESOME. kinda like Breakfast Club meets Heroes meets... something else maybe? (Skins? i've never seen it, but the comparison is always Skins meets Heroes). Even though they're all kind of criminals. But Curtis is definitely the Athlete, Alisha is the Princess, Simon is the Brain, but i guess Nathan would be the Basket Case and Kelly would be the Criminal (just because she's tougher than Nathan. Nathan would be the Jerk, or the Loud Mouth, if there were such a caste. Alison wasn't loud, she was just crazy. but i guess that kind of applies to Nathan too).

And i suppose that if Misfits is going to be my new thing, I'll have to be prepared to let go of my fave characters, as the Brits like to change things up every once in a while.

(Also? I'd like to point out that I don't hate Matt Smith as the new doc. I wasn't sure about him before, but I realize now why i don't want to watch the new series of Who. Its because i don't really have anyone to watch it with. Who was fun, and funny, and heartwrenching and great, but I watched it with kepp0xy , and THAT'S part of the reason why i loved it so much. and now she's not here, and i just... don't have the desire. I'm sure Matt Smith does a GREAT job as 11, but... i dunno. I miss having a person to watch it with and squee about it, and cry and go on and on throughout the night about it with. {i'm sure that sentence was grammatically incorrect, but i don't care} so I'm not trying to be a hater, but, without my Who Buddy, i just don't want to watch it.)

I'm listening to Doomsday right now and I have goosebumps.

Well, stuff has happened since I last posted oh so many days ago. 

I am now a full time employee of Ritchie Bros Auctioneers. I'm in the AR department. Why I can't escape being an accountant-like person is a mystery. (Yesterday I put in a 10 hour work day. It eerily reminded me of my mother. Oh dear god, i'm turning into her!!)

What else? 

Oh yes! Canada Day!!

Well, first it was Midway. Me and the Sis took a plane down to Kelowna ($80 each, not a bad deal! And it wasn't even OUR money! Daddy's so nice!!) - less than an hour in the air!! - on Saturday. Probably ate too much while we were there. Watched a lot of MXC. Thank goodness Mimi has A/C otherwise we would have perished from the heat (please note that I've lived in Richmond BC for my whole life. Anything near 30 degrees Celsius is hot for me, and anything over is cruel). Was there until Tuesday (we took off Monday from work to hang out with the fam!!) It was nice, just chillin with my family, not doing anything major besides eating. Oh, we went for a couple walks and everything, but other than that, it was pretty slack. 

Tuesday we were on the road at 730 am, got home around 130 pm. Both Mares and I had Canada Day plans, but we were just so tired of being in a car for 6 hours, we contacted our respective friends and bailed. And around 3 we both took naps. I woke up 3 hours later, and then got a call from Steve telling me to go to the BBQ i bailed on. Since i was feeling better, i decided to do so. 

Spent time at the Roddens', hung out with baby Kaeda, skullycat, goldenrockstar, Steve, Christina, Nate, and Emily. Good times were had. 

Tomorrow i have plans with kepp0xy to watch more Doctor Who. We're on Series 2 now. I'll do another post on how i feel about the show so far. I'm running out of time right now.

Then I have tentative plans on Saturday, and Sunday is dinner with Erin, our family friend! YAY!!

But yes.

Thanks ever so much to my beloved kepp0xy, i'm now in love with Doctor Who. We marathoned the first 7 eps of season 1 on friday, and i'm hooked.

seriously? handholding? *dies* we've agreed that The Doctor isn't exactly... handsome in the traditional sense, but god the man is attractive. i just can't get over how cute he is. and funny. and sweet. and oh god, just the handholding kills me every. single. time.

and rose!! she's so sweet! its no wonder everyone falls in love with her!! lol. 'he's attractive' 'i hadn't noticed'. hee! why! how! oh god! just... *dies*

yes, i'm in fangirl mode. hee! *squees*


also, last night was aluminiumdonut's birthday party. we went to the Eatery in Vancouver, i ordered too much stuff and didn't eat half of it, then we went to gulstaff's place where some ppl played on his Wii, and some of us played this fun game called Mad Scientist University. mucho fun. we're absolutely insane! i love chapters/ex chapters ppl!! *hugs them all*

goldenrockstar had a bbq last night, but he invited me an hour before it started, and Donut had invited me like... weeks in advance. and even though i haven't seen Drew or jamiesona in a while, i made commitments and i wasn't going to just drop them. sorry. anyways, i hardly get to see chapters ppl anymore. i mean, yeah, i don't see you guys a lot either, but i think i see them less. besides, me and Drew are going to dinner on... wednesday!!


ooh! i have an interview tomorrow at 10 at Ritchie Bros Auctioneers for a receptionist position!! it sounds pretty good! i hope i do well!!

today me and Mares went to Alegria for brekkie and I saw Christina, and Naeem, and Sarah. No Joy though. That's okay, maybe next time. Well, next week really.

this week is full of good stuffs, methinks. interview tomorrow, dinner with Drew on wednesday, kepp0xy's birthday bash on friday. dinner with Dad and Mares on saturday. possible dinner with Erin and Craig on sunday.

and its Father's Day today!!!

Happy Father's Day to everyone's dad!!! (I get to celebrate Father's day too! I'm the 'dad' when it comes to the kittens. Me and Mares do this thing where i get her something from the kittens on mothers day, and she gets me something from the kittens on fathers day. we're weird, but still. it works out fairly nicely i think.)
