So last night, I dragged skullycat out to have dinner with me. Fought with her tooth and nail, i did.

Ok, so not really.

But we did go out to Charthouse, just her and I. It was nice and lovely, and we had a very nice server. We say really weird things when we're together (and when we're not together, but a lot of weird shit comes out of our mouths especially when we ARE together) and apparently some woman at a table close by was staring at us.

whatever.

we had cheesecake for dessert and it was yummy and she ruined the cake because she knows it upsets me. She's a bitch. what can i say? (besides that i love her and oh god, she's going to make us mormons or something and i'll be living in the basement of her and Bee's place in Australia and Kaeda's going to have a weird life with Mommy and Daddy and Auntie Cait - IN THE BASEMENT - with some possible half-siblings even though I'm technically supposed to be with Steve in the future) Aren't rambling run-on sentences fun?

Yes, I'm making no sense, but i've just finished my... 4th? cup of coffee so i'm a little wired.

ok, the reason i chose the icon for this post.

So i went to Karen's place to pick her up for dinner, and I hung out with Kaeda as karen and Bee made dinner. So me and Kaeds are hanging out on the stairs, and we're both sitting there, chilling, when she hugs me. completely out of the blue, um-prompted hug.

So, of course my tiny little heart grew twice its size.

My little baby niece hugged me!! It was so cute and she's so cute and I just felt kinda loved and special. I know that I'm not a complete stranger anymore (we do scrunchie face all the time together) but still.

then, as I squeed to her parents about how she hugged me, they asked if she gave me a kiss as well? So i said no, and they told me to do the kissy noise and maybe she'd give me a kiss too. So i go back and i do the 'kiss kiss' thing and lo and behold, i got a kiss too.

So then i felt doubly loved.

I tells ya, that kid is so darn cute.

So after dinner we went back to karen's place and hung out a bit, i gave Bee and Karen back massages, then hung out with Karen a little bit more until Karen decided to put Kaeda to bed. That's when I went home.

All in all, yesterday was pretty not bad. Talked to kepp0xy via emails and we squeed about Merlin. SHE IS AN ENABLER, I TELL YOU.

but yes. that's about it.

I'm going for it! I"m going to post every day this week! or DIE trying. or smth. idk.

OK. SO.

Went to a spa cafe last night with Jenni (from chapters) at Caroline's house (also from chapters). it was nice. we didn't know what it was exactly, but figured we'd try it out. pretty much what it sounds like. we went to Caroline's, and she works for this company called Artistry which is a make-up, facial care company.
Who knew? (not us).
so we got to try a line of products. We cleansed and moisturized and lotioned and masked and had cucumbers on our eyes. The whole shebang. Then we got to put on make up. its nice stuff.

We started at 6pm and left at 9pm as we did some hanging out and girl-chatting and whatnot.

so then me and Jenni hit up Mcdonalds and ate and talked some more. I miss her. She was one of my closest friends at chapters. now that place is fucked up all to hell and no one wants to step foot in that store. at least, none of us who used to work there.

ANYWAYS. i'm not going to get into that otherwise i'll work myself into a fury.

I got Maren to tape NCIS and Fringe for me, and I taped House.

I didn't get to watch Fringe, because it was like... 1230, 1 when i went to bed, and then i woke up late this morning. so i'll watch that tonight. OI. So many things to watch!! So Little time!

So yesterday I phone my boss at the Casino to remind him that I'm going to the interior for my cousin's birthday. Obviously, he forgot, and said he'd call me back.

which he does a little while later. 

He tells me because I phoned in late on sunday sick and that I'm going away this weekend... its not really working out and he'll have to let me go. I agree, say thanks, and we hang up.

I don't think i've ever been more relieved in my life. 

So then i'm presented with a dilemma. My hours at Ritchie Bros are going to be cut down soon, so I'll have to find another part time job (that's not that Hell Hole I used to work at).

So i go to lunch with the girls from work (Mieke {pronounced MEE-ka}, Diana, and Lisa). Mieke then tells us over sushi that she's accepting another job with the gov't. We're kind of upset, but hello, its with The Gov't of Canada. This is awesome for her, because if you can get a job with the gov't, you take it. Plus, she applied for this job a year ago, before she started working for RBA, and the interview process was so intense, she really can't NOT take it.

So we're happy for her.

And then it was decided that I would take over for her. That's full time hours and Benefits, baby. 

Things happen for a reason. 

RBA (Ritchie Bros Auctioneers) is a great company. There's a BBQ today (i know, its raining, AGAIN.), and next week there's hot dog day, and this friday my department (A/R... yes i know, its accounting. Why? WHY??) is having a Pow Wow because we just got a new person and now I'm taking over for Mieke and blah blah blah. But its awesome. 


Also? Part of my geekiness, aluminiumdonut texts me yesterday to say that our man tony stark is on the cover of the Rogers video thingy. So i'll have to pick that up today or smth. cuz... It's Iron Man. Marvels version of Batman (in a way).  its no wonder i love him so much. 


I'm totally looking forward to spending a couple days in Midway with the Fam. Haven't seen them since... May long weekend? I think? Its been a little while, and its always fun to hang. My family is awesome. 

Now its time to get back to work. but i'm pretty happy right now.

 I was so close to going to Duran Duran tonight. But i had made dinner plans in advance, and i passed the tickets up. (I hope Justin enjoys the show. He better.)

So tonight i'm going to dinner with a smattering of people. Well... i don't know if i can have a smattering of people, since that doesn't sound... like they're alive. I'm doing to dine with a small group of people. that sounds better i suppose.  (and then i'll probably go home and watch WOLF LAKE!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!)

But yes. excited to see ppls and such.

My weekend! I think i just stayed home and chilled with my sis friday night. I'm pretty sure thats what i did. Since on saturday after working at Chapters, i worked with Steven for a bit, i drove Chris (gulstaff) home, i got home, me and my sis chilled a bit more, got dinner, watched the the last half of Ever After, then went over to goldenrockstar's place to hang out with the guys (since i've been somewhat neglectful). At first it was just me and Drew and jamiesona. Jamerz wanted to watch some comedian, but his CDR wouldn't work, so we watched The Rock (with Nick Cage and Sean Connery) instead. And it was pretty awesome. part way through the movie a few other guys showed up, as they were making a stop before they went to a house party. 

but i had a good time with drew and jamerz just chillilng and hanging out and watching a cool movie. 

On Sunday, it was my beloved speckleberry's birthday. So after having a big brekkie with my sis, i met up with iheartkeysand we drove to pick Speckles up (and gave her a birthday tiara) and we headed for lunch. She wanted Fish and Chips, so we went to Daves, in steveston. She also gave us presents, even though it was HER birthday (and I got a lovely card from my darling sapphs!Thanks Hon!) After eating we stopped by Serendipity's where me and Vix saw an old ex-coworker of ours, Ashley. So we had a nice chat and i bought some pretty stones and she gave me one for free. She's such a sweetie. 

Then we went off to get our nails done! That's right! I bought Hannah some fake nails for her b-day! after that we zoomed off to go to the Wrap Party for This Conversation where we met up with oparu and Gaelle, and other people i don't know. But it was fun. I suck at pool. People are cool. then Vix and I had to depart as it was like 10 and we were tired and i had to go to work the next day. 

but still. The day was spent with two of my favourite chickies! T'was quite awesome!!

And just now i had a little squee-fest with my girlie kepp0xy!!! <3 you!!!

and me and moogan83 have little squee-fests throughout the day due to Twilight!!!

I plan to watch at least a disc's worth of S5 X-Files. 

If we start when we get home, its doable. We're on Redux II right now. We had to stop halfway because my sis had a Very Important BFF phone call, and then when she was ready, I had plans to go out.

BUT OMG, THAT EP (from what i saw) WAS SO FULL OF SQUEE, I WAS A BIG FLAILY THING!!! HAND-HOLDING! FOREHEAD KISSING! PRACTICALLY SAYING ILU OUT LOUD!!! OMG! HOW ARE THEY NOT MARRIED ALREADY???

but anyway. yes. Disc 2 of S5 has 'The Post Modern Prometheus' which speckleberry was talking about yesterday. so i'm excited for that. hee. 

seriously, if this season is going to be all shippy like this, i'm going to need to be tied down or take a sedative before watching, because i was all flaily last night. My sister actually told me to stop flailing. bwa. 

i was in shipper heaven last night practically. cuz then Criminal Minds was on, and it was Penelope, and that's the ep that Morgan was all, You know I love you, right?

and that made me all flaily as well. cuz omg. he's so hot and cute and all he wants to do is protect her and how hot is that? and sweet? just.. omg.

OMG

 Have no fear, my friends! I'm still alive! (barely...)

I have just been... preoccupied. I've been going through a House Marathon, and putting myself in a House-coma. No need to worry. (Currently, I'm on the second disk of the third season).

There... isn't that much to say really. Yesterday i went to my first ever Chapters Staff Meeting. It was 3 hours long, and apparently, THAT was short, and we had to rush at the end. But there was food and 'games' and stuff, so it wasn't all bad. and we got paid for it, so that's cool, i guess. I'm a little upset that I have to work tonight, cuz that means missing CHUCK. *sads*

Sometimes i'm kind of retarded though. This whole, having to wake up early for work kinda messes with my House Addiction though. I'll stay up til 1am watching it, then have my first alarm go off at like, 6am to warn me that yes, you'll have to get up soon and get ready for work. 

AND! this will tell you how addicted I am to it! Last week my sister was in Victoria for work stuff, so i taped all of my wednesday shows (except for Pushing Daisies, which i watched on Tuesday cuz my parent's have awesome cable), and just watched House instead. AND i did that for Thursday too. Ok, well, I watched Grey's Anatomy with my sister - we talked via msn during the show. so that was fun. But seriously, i did NOTHING but watch House. 

Which is good. Cuz i can't go out and do stuff anymore if i want to go to Australia. So... it kinda has an upside to it, i suppose.
