I have this friday off!! and I'm totally going to indulge in my Sushi Addiction!!! Seriously, I was totally craving it yesterday, when I saw my coworker get some for lunch. (dynamite rolls, iirc, even though thats not what I want. GIVE ME TUNA & SALMON SUSHI OR GIVE ME DEATH!!! well, not death, just sushi...)

So, i'm looking forward to that.

goldenrockstar last night for coffee, but Karen bailed since her fiancee is finally back in town. I'm not complaining about not going out, cuz that means i got to watch NCIS and Lost!!! (i'm so happy that tv is back, btw).

In Other News, My Person (Sarah) and I have decided on my Work Crush. Not the one that lives on the other side of Canada (who one day I will eventually meet, i think, maybe, if the worlds align, and he'll fall in love with me, and we'll live happily ever after, or smth, even though i've only talked to him twice, but his name fits my list, so, we'll see. I'm hoping he's a Tall-y. A broad Tall-y. I like tall guys, ok?). The one in our office. We both appreciate his looks and he's got a nice voice, and I see him walk by a lot, and she has HER work crush, and I wasn't overly fond of the one she picked out for me before, so.... yes. Oliver (i love that name too, btw), is my newly acquired Work Crush. I don't think i'll turn red whenever he talks to me, like Sarah does when Her Work Crush talks to her, but... yeah.

Ok, so pretty much every morning when I get into work, the first thing I do is I get coffee for Sarah and I, and i take the two cups of coffee and i walk to her desk to drop hers off (i'm a good friend). I saw Oliver this morning as we passed by each other, and he commented on my two cups of coffee, and i swore that they weren't BOTH for me (ppl sometimes comment on my coffee addiction in the morning, but the other cup is for SARAH, Dammit!) so i drop off the coffee, and then she's all, oh we're going on a break now, so i went with them, and on our way to the elevator, we see Oliver again, and i pointed out VERY CLEARLY that I had ONE cup and Sarah had the OTHER. So the three of us had a chuckle, and he went down the stairs and Sarah and I went to the elevator, and she was all, ooh, yeah, he's good looking. and i TOTALLY concurred, so we decided right then and there that he was my work crush, cuz, lets face it, he kinda already is.

man, love (or something) is in the air. or its in my system. lol.

ok, fine. i haven't updated in a while. and its not like i have a super busy life, i'm just lazy. Monday's i eat dinner at my dad's place, tuesdays are reserved for NCIS (and NCIS: LA), Wednesdays are Glee nights at my friend Sarah's (even though I tape Criminal Minds and CSI:NY, because i love them too), thursdays are the Mentalist (but that's on at 10, so there's plenty of time for me to go out and have dinner with friends and still make it back in time), and fridays... well, fridays USED to be my night with

kepp0xy, but we switched that to saturday afternoons so we could watch merlin together.

and yes. i'm fairly aware that my life revolves around tv. but i'm ok with that. i do other stuff on the weekends. like chilll with my sister, or go out with friends (when they remember to call me) and stuff like that.

But yes. NCIS, Glee, the Mentalist, and Merlin are my fave shows this year. I can't help it!!

NCIS has been completely AMAZING. I think this has been the best season so far (and i'm not just saying that because my ship is totally almost canon right now). All the eps have been wonderful and amazing and good. And Tony's hair, although not my favourite hairstyle he's ever had, is growing on me (no pun intended).

Glee... god, where do i start?? Seriously, i love this show. its full of crack and music, so really, what more could I ask for? And i'm SO excited for this wednesday, you have no idea. ( Behind a cut just in case there are spoilers... )

But yes. SO EXCITED for wednesday. Although I have been informed that it's Sarah's Mom's birthday that day, so she is doing family stuff. So i'll be watching it at home with the sis and flailing like a maniac there. hee.

The Mentalist is also super good this season, but I totally love Lisbon (even though when I started watching the first season, she was not my fave person ever. but that changed cuz she's HBIC and all that, and its kind of awesome), and the first few eps were kinda about her, so that made me happy. And i love the Team, and how they're all so Teamy, and its just awesome.

and merlin is just... well, let me put it this way.

kepp0xyand I have this Epic Email that started... oh, at least a few months ago (probably longer), and its basically an Epic Flail over Merlin (with a dash of other shows we love, like NCIS thrown in for good measure). Actually, we have a couple emails going on that are basically full of Merlin!Love.This show has eaten her brain and is making its way through mine (not to the same degree, but still, eating my brain nonetheless). Its been a good season so far, with MASSIVE ship developments. which makes US happy. so hee! and yay!

and... I thought I'd save the best for last. This is more of a Real Life dealio, so if you're not interested, you can just stop here...

So... next year, My Best Friend (

skullycat... i know, i know, be amazed that i admitted it outloud and everything...) is GETTING MARRIED!!!! AND I'M TOTALLY EXCITED FOR THIS BECAUSE SHE'S MY BFF AND I LOVE HER AND HIM AND A;LSDKFJALSDKJFALSDJKFAL;SDFJK. I'M SO HAPPY FOR THEM!!!!

BUT YES. SO... I'M IN A RATHER GOOD MOOD AND SUCH. CONGRATZ, BB!!!

don't get me wrong. i like my job. I do. But... sometimes, i lose my faith in humanity. not seriously. but... god, some calls i get, people are just... not bright. and its the simplest of solutions, and yes, it's faster calling one of us, but still. STILL. hearing the same stupid questions all morning long is not fun. Especially when you've been at work since 615am. Ok, so the calls didn't start until 730, but still. AND. AND. i've been asked to stay til 5pm, just so someone experienced can handle the bid deposits. Ambee and I got here around the same time, but, still. It's unfair to both of us. The newbies haven't been trained because we COULDN'T train them. We had nothing to train them WITH. and it would be unfair to leave them alone after a few hours of training. and its not like i COULDN'T use the money, but... its pretty much an 11-hr day. I shouldn't whine, but i totally am. Sarah worked a 14hr day last week, or something. maybe even a couple of times.

i think i'm just being cranky right now. i went to bed early, but i didn't have a very good sleep. And i woke up in the middle of the night and was desperately thirsty, then had a hard time going back to sleep. THEN i woke up late because i'm stupid and don't know how to properly set my alarm.

but now i've had lunch, and feeling a bit better. My work mom told me that it was illegal to wear a batman outfit in Australia. Is that true? I got a bit hysterical at that, but that was before lunch, and i needed the laugh.

So now that i've eaten, had a few good laughs, and gottten some sugar in my system, i'm feeling better. I just needed to rant to get it OUT of my system. And some of the calls i was getting were just so stupid.

(although, i have to say, some of the calls i had, those guys had nice voices, and cheered me up a bit. hee. i'm a voice-whore).

BUT now i must get back to work, and reply to my Epic Email to

Gah. Tv was good last night.

Me and Mares got McDonalds for dinner and then set up the LAST DISC in the Dark Angel series. We watched an ep and a half before it was time for NCIS.

I love my team. They are just so awesome. and I love the writers on this show who are all about continuity. (and can i just say its a little weird to be watching Michael Weatherly as Logan on Dark Angel, then watch him as Tony on NCIS. Day and Night, people. Day and Night.)

Then we watched Fringe (which my sister slept through mostly). It was pretty good. I love the Bishop Boys. I can't help it, they're just too amazing. (And? I totally knew that Olivia was trippin out. I totally knew it was all about John. Just sayin). But yes. I totally love Peter. He's smart and musically talented and funny and he takes care of his father, and he's just so amazing and i love him.

Walter is funny and crazy and brilliant. i love him too.

Dark Angel was getting really interesting when they cancelled it.

I think the best part of watching Dark Angel before going to bed last night was the dream i had when i went to sleep. I'm pretty damn sure it had Jensen Ackles in it, and I was pretty close to him. Like, we were friends, or something. I think I was hugging him a lot or sitting in his lap at one point. It was a pretty good dream.

Tonight I'm having dinner with

goldenrockstar and possibly

skullycat (and Kaeda). Don't know where we're going, but i like food, so thats good. Possibly hanging out with Karen on Friday and going shopping with her. Then Saturday is the RBA X-Mas party. I still have to find something to wear. EEP.

I'm going for it! I"m going to post every day this week! or DIE trying. or smth. idk.

OK. SO.

Went to a spa cafe last night with Jenni (from chapters) at Caroline's house (also from chapters). it was nice. we didn't know what it was exactly, but figured we'd try it out. pretty much what it sounds like. we went to Caroline's, and she works for this company called Artistry which is a make-up, facial care company.
Who knew? (not us).
so we got to try a line of products. We cleansed and moisturized and lotioned and masked and had cucumbers on our eyes. The whole shebang. Then we got to put on make up. its nice stuff.

We started at 6pm and left at 9pm as we did some hanging out and girl-chatting and whatnot.

so then me and Jenni hit up Mcdonalds and ate and talked some more. I miss her. She was one of my closest friends at chapters. now that place is fucked up all to hell and no one wants to step foot in that store. at least, none of us who used to work there.

ANYWAYS. i'm not going to get into that otherwise i'll work myself into a fury.

I got Maren to tape NCIS and Fringe for me, and I taped House.

I didn't get to watch Fringe, because it was like... 1230, 1 when i went to bed, and then i woke up late this morning. so i'll watch that tonight. OI. So many things to watch!! So Little time!

2) Meat Loaf? Is awesome. No, not the food. Well, the food rocks too, but I'm talking about the Singer. Meat Loaf is amazing. Totally into Cry Over Me right now. Its depressing and angry and amazingly good. That boy can belt out emotion, if you ask me.

3) Sadly (and Happily),

goldenrockstar is going to Egypt in a few days. He keeps saying that he's never coming back, but hopefully he'll send me a postcard before that happens. I will be Boy Best Friend-less until he returns. In the meantime, I'll have

jamiesona as a... not a replacement, but a substitute, in a way. I think we're having dinner on friday in Burnaby.

So. Ok.

Even though last week was a short week where work was concerned, it still felt long. Friday night i had plans to go out clubbing with ppl, but i was so tired i had to bail. Seriously, after talking with drew, i pretty much passed out for a couple of hours.

Saturday I went to a girl from work's birthday party. At Ginger 62 - which is more of a lounge than a club. Pretty nice. had fun. I was thinking of not going to that either, but I couldn't NOT go, so i did. And surprise surprise, I met someone from High School. Anila. She went to high school with them too. It was pretty fun.

ALSO. NCIS = my new love. That's right. I'm all about NCIS now. Me and Mares went through the first season in about 4 days.

Um... what else? I think that's it. Dinner with Dad tonight, then on Wednesday is Dinner with Drew.

OOH, TSCC is back tonight, for which i'm excited for!! HEE!!

So. TV. I have yet to look at a tv guide/week/whatever to see whats coming back and what's new.

Pushing Daisies, Chuck, Sarah Conner, House, Bones, Criminal Minds... those are all shows I'm planning to watch when they come back.

Fringe looks interesting. Then theres another criminal show that looks pretty good, but i can't remember the name of it yet.

I'm really into NCIS right now. I'm thinking about buying them. I started watching when Ziva was on, and I quite enjoy her. But Kate seems pretty awesome too. ilu history channel. I think NCIS might replace SGA in my life. AND NCIS has really strong female characters. Ziva kicks major ass, and Abby is super smart and cute. awesome.

um... yeah, what else? coffee tonight with some peeps, possibly going out on Friday, and Saturday, might visit Alegria ppl on sunday... oi.

I totally deserve some DVDs. I'm going to the bank to deposit my cheques, then going to Best Buy and spending them!!

ALSO.

yesterday i worked a split shift at RBA. 8-1 then 4-7. hung out with Karen and Kaeda.

Its so funny. I call Karen up and we're all 'You whote' and 'i hate your face, FACE' and then after lunch at Alegria, we're walking back to her place, and we're talking bills, mortgages, financial stuffs. OMG we're almost like grownups but not really even though she's a mom and i have a full time job that's in A/R.

good times.
