now, the REALLY important News: STANDOFF!!!!! If any of you love me even the slightest bit, PLEASE tune in tomorrow night!!! As much as i love JERICHO, I love STANDOFF 10xmore. I really really REALLY don't want this show to get cancelled!!! It makes my shipper heart fill with GLEE with EACH and EVERY episode!!! THIS SHOW makes relationships within a show work!!!! AND he's so silly and dorky and full of love!!! and she's so pretty, and smart, and silly and great and i luff her. AND GINA TORRES IS IN IT!!!! that's right, people. ZOE from FIREFLY!!! she's Da Boss!!!! And she's AWESOME!!!! but that's not really all that surprising. But seriously. You know what i said about helping me be a happy fangirl up there? If i lose this show, that will never happen ever again. cuz this show makes it work!!! and that's practicallly impossible!!! its a good show!!!! fox just hates fans everywhere (do i need to mention firelfy? or Wonderfalls?)

so please please please watch STANDOFF Friday night on Fox. Or at least pretend to like i am - I have to work. Otherwise you KNOW i'd plant my ass in front of the tv screen and flail. BUT, because i'm full of supa!spyness! i am tricking Fox into THINKING that i'm watching it in realtime - i'm leaving my tv on. Hopefully that will boost its ratings a smidge.

I'm here! i'm alive! i'm moving stuff in a week! and that totally freaks me out!!!

this whole being a grown-up business is hard work.

I am paying my own cell phone bill as of now, and i like having money. so. yes. we're probably getting a main line for the condo and such, so, i will give you all details later. but yes.

oh man. i'm moving out soon. like... in a WEEK soon. how crazy is that!!!

on an upside, i'm getting a double bed! i'm very very excited! (my sister gets a king, but that's cuz her room is crazy big. i'm happy with a double.)

but yes. i'm slightly still in denial since i'm not completely freaking out yet. but i am moving soon. and i should be getting my laptop back soon too, thank whoever! seriously, its been over a month, (When are you going to stop trying to find a way to bring that up in every single conversation? ok, not much of a list, for now. just, hold on. there is a (?) for a reason. They are offering me the job, but the only problem is that i can't start right away. Denise needs me so we can prep the girls to cover my shift. (i almost wrote shit, but caught myself. same thing really.)

so my New Best Friend Mike (who is kinda my agent-type guy. he found me this gig and set up the interview, and called me after to see how it went. see? new best friend.) was all, try and see if you can start on this new job for next week. and i was all, ok, i'll try, but...

so then i get back to work and i was all, hee. i have good news and bad news. good news is, i got the job. bad news is, they need me to start next week. then denise was all, erm... i would if i could, but i really really need you here so i can prep the girls. plus, you kinda promised me a 2 week notice. and i was all, yeah, i know.

so then i called my NBF Mike and i told him, and he was all, ok, let me relay this to the ppl, and i'll get back to you.

except then i didn't hear from him again. so i'm just gonna call him tomorrow, and see whats up.

THEN, after coming home from work and taking a shower, Marcie (whom i totally love and adore. Yes, that's right.

Ok, so some things have happend so far in my life, but not really.

On Sunday, after discovering, yes, our offer was accepted!!! i hung out with Sheena in the afternoon. it was a beautiful, chilly day. We got coffee (and snacks) and had a nice talk. Then, we kind of played 'phone tag' with her Birthday Buddy Aidan and planned to have dinner with him (and some of their friends from Trinity).

So we went to Burnaby (i called mom just to make sure we didn't get lost, even though we had google-mapped our route from Sheena's, and Peter [her brother] had given me directions as well) to the Crystal Mall (which was where the Stargate Convention was!!!! we were both, we've been here!!!) and walked around a bit til we could get in the S & W Pepper or something like that. I wasn't really paying attention to the name.

But yes, i met a bunch of really nice, great people, and i had fun (even if i did feel slightly out of place).

THEN!!!

yesterday, after watching Prison Break (omg! *iz ded* ) I went to DQ with Kieran! since he apparently missed me muchly. i was all, ok, i don't get, but thanks.

so i got a moo latte and he got a blizzard and we drove around and talked, and he kept saying how awesome i was and how much he missed me and i was all, i don't get why you keep saying that, but thanks.

we drove by the apartement, and its still nice, even in the dark.

it was nice seeing Kiki again. we might hang out this weekend if he doesn't have to work.

AND!

OMG! Today!!! firstly, denise was in around 11 and then the ppl from the placement agency called and wanted to talk to her, so she raved about how great i was. then while she was talking to Russ, Jesse called me and was all, we've found a job that you might be able to fill, we just need to set up an appointment for you!!!
