Okay. I just want to make something clear.

I'm not doing Christmas Cards. My funds won't really allow it. Next year i'll be on the ball and manage my money better, but this year is just for family.

Just know that I love you guys so so much, and I probably wouldn't have made it this year without you. or, if i had, i'd probably be in worse shape.

So yeah. Not doing Christmas Cards this year, but I love you all the same.


ok, i'm done with being sappy.

ok, i'm a little late, but that's me in life, typically. I was rooting for Obama, and lo and behold, he won. I think its a little sad when i'm more interested in another Country's politics than my own. whatever. this year it was exciting. yay Obama \o/ (besides, i don't even like my leader. I like Obama though.)

anyway. Stuff. work is okay, if a little stressing. its good though. its real life, and good experience. If they don't fire me, I can see myself working here for a while.

The fam is good. me and mares are on the 3rd Season of Due South (mmm, Paul Gross). so awesome. and? i'm addicted to Pokemon Silver. I play it online, and it's like crack.  its like... my version of WOW or something. yeah. that's right. Pokemon (for gameboy). i stayed up until almost 1am playing that game. I have to freakin wake up at 530. That's less than my usual 5 hours of sleep. Not cool. sometimes i r dum.

what else? i have friday off. spending most of it with my dad, which will be nice. excited for next week. going to Just for Laughs in Vancouver with a bunch of party ppl (well... kepp0xy - who's MY friend, my sis, three of her friends, one of her friends' bf, and my boy cousin.) it should be fun. Danny Bhoy is so hilarious. i luff him.

but yeah. Tomorrow i'm having lunch with the girls. probably going to Matsuyama. it'll be fun, though. Might have to come in  a bit early so I can leave at 430. Oi. 630-430 doesn't sound fun, but I'll do it for a long lunch. I'd rather come in early than stay late. is that weird? am I the only one?

Con was pretty awesome (would have been better had kepp0xy had gone, but i digress =P)

Best part imo was the Joss Whedon Panel. Oh, Dr. Horrible, you are so awesome and ilu. Did much shopping, but i didn't go overboard, i think. 


Sadly, SGA and i have parted ways. I was all excited when i was at the panel, but its gone, and i don't think its coming back. Thats how it goes sometimes though. I'm very stubborn and hard-headed, and if you upset me, i hold a grudge (usually its warrented, but like i said, i'm hard-headed and stubborn).  I'll still give it a shot every once in a while, but the ep i saw.... disappointed me. Or something. Although, i will have to go back to S2 and look at a few things more clearly.   

I love continuity, so when things kinda jumble up, i generally leave it alone, but its there in the back of my mind.

ok, maybe THAT's the best part of the trip. The Hotel. Because omg, it was fantastic. There were good looking guys opening the doors and calling us "Ladies" and i felt giddy and giggley and it was awesome. I felt so schleppy there, but still. Guys opening the doors and calling us "ladies" made my day every single time. <3

ANYWAY.  CON stuff..

i'm at work, so i'll do that later. but its nice to be home. but it was nice to go and see people and meet people and spend money on cool things that i'll never use/need ever again. so awesome. 


saw phrenitis  and ceruleantidesas well. I missed them! Helped out a little at the WB LEGO BATMAN thing too. got a lego Batman and Joker out of it. Good times. (reminds me that i hate people sometimes though. People can be really annoying, and irritating, and rude.)

BUT. ALSO. Sam L Jackson walked RIGHT BY ME and we shared a glance and it was magical.

but yes. should work now. Well, i am partly, but i'll finish this... sometime later.

 I was so close to going to Duran Duran tonight. But i had made dinner plans in advance, and i passed the tickets up. (I hope Justin enjoys the show. He better.)

So tonight i'm going to dinner with a smattering of people. Well... i don't know if i can have a smattering of people, since that doesn't sound... like they're alive. I'm doing to dine with a small group of people. that sounds better i suppose.  (and then i'll probably go home and watch WOLF LAKE!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!)

But yes. excited to see ppls and such.

My weekend! I think i just stayed home and chilled with my sis friday night. I'm pretty sure thats what i did. Since on saturday after working at Chapters, i worked with Steven for a bit, i drove Chris (gulstaff) home, i got home, me and my sis chilled a bit more, got dinner, watched the the last half of Ever After, then went over to goldenrockstar's place to hang out with the guys (since i've been somewhat neglectful). At first it was just me and Drew and jamiesona. Jamerz wanted to watch some comedian, but his CDR wouldn't work, so we watched The Rock (with Nick Cage and Sean Connery) instead. And it was pretty awesome. part way through the movie a few other guys showed up, as they were making a stop before they went to a house party. 

but i had a good time with drew and jamerz just chillilng and hanging out and watching a cool movie. 

On Sunday, it was my beloved speckleberry's birthday. So after having a big brekkie with my sis, i met up with iheartkeysand we drove to pick Speckles up (and gave her a birthday tiara) and we headed for lunch. She wanted Fish and Chips, so we went to Daves, in steveston. She also gave us presents, even though it was HER birthday (and I got a lovely card from my darling sapphs!Thanks Hon!) After eating we stopped by Serendipity's where me and Vix saw an old ex-coworker of ours, Ashley. So we had a nice chat and i bought some pretty stones and she gave me one for free. She's such a sweetie. 

Then we went off to get our nails done! That's right! I bought Hannah some fake nails for her b-day! after that we zoomed off to go to the Wrap Party for This Conversation where we met up with oparu and Gaelle, and other people i don't know. But it was fun. I suck at pool. People are cool. then Vix and I had to depart as it was like 10 and we were tired and i had to go to work the next day. 

but still. The day was spent with two of my favourite chickies! T'was quite awesome!!

And just now i had a little squee-fest with my girlie kepp0xy!!! <3 you!!!

and me and moogan83 have little squee-fests throughout the day due to Twilight!!!

 Right now, i really appreciate my co-workers. 

About an hour and a half ago, i was taken out to lunch by two of the women i work with. (We got sushi at this place where the food is pretty good, but the service is crazy slow). 

I found out that two of my bosses wanted them to take me out to 'keep my spirits up'. I thought that it was a really kind gesture. 

I got paid in full for the three weeks i wasn't here. They sent flowers twice. A couple of co-workers showed up at the gathering. They are making sure that if there's anything they can do to help to let them know. 

my work place is really quite amazing. 

(i wasn't sure how to bring up the subject of vacation, seeing as i've just taken three weeks off and wasn't sure if i was really still entitled to it, even considering the situation, when they mentioned Australia. Unfortunetly, Australia is a bust, but i did not-so-subtley say something about Comic Con in July. So i'm thinking that i get at least a week off, and thats when i plan to take it.)


I think i'll go back to chapters after my birthday. I don't want to say that i'll come back now only to have to book off my birthday and it be a hassle and everything. I'll just wait for a couple weeks. But i do plan to go back. (even if they didn't send flowers or a card or anything. Its not that i overly care seeing as we got tons of flowers and cards, but both my sister's work and my work sent flowers. i mean, i know that i'm a part time employee at chapters, but still. i just thought it was funny that chapters didn't send anything. it just makes me think less and less of the fucktards that are in charge. Not Steven though. I got a hug from him, and i'm allowed one more. There was a card from FRIENDS at Chapters, not the store itself. God, if i didn't love some of the people there so much, i'd probably be outta there by now. the store itself going downhill. but this isn't a post about how much i dislike chapters. its a post about how much i like my other co-workers right now. but i do love my friends at chapters. they're the only part of that place that makes it worthwhile being there.)

last night mares and i had dinner with Dad (greek takeout! yum!!) and stayed there until about 830. We got home and talked to Cousin Kim for a bit, then i waited for kieran to call me as i played on the internet - i've been going through a... well, i bought Seasons 1 & 2 of Veronica Mars (partly because of the Logan/Veronica aspect), then i went through this crazy Smallville Lois/Clark thing (i hunted for clips and vids on youtube) for some unknown reason as i don't even watch the show, and then i went on a hunt for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles icons and clips on youtube. (seriously, that whole cast frakkin rocks.)

(and if i could just ask everyone and anyone to keep an eye out for any kind of icon with Sarah and John and the text "I'll Always Find You" for me, that would be much appreciated. I loved that scene so much.)

ANYWAY, around... 1030? ish? kieran calls and i take him back to his place from the mall as he just finished helping his brother move, and he had to pick up the gifts he got me. He got me two purses - the big ones that can hold everything and anything. I recently bought a purse that was the complete opposite of that, since i wanted something small. that same day, he texted me telling me that he got me a big purse. but for some reason he thought that my favourite movie was The Nightmare Before Christmas and got me a purse with Jack Skellington on it. I think i've seen it... maybe once? years and years ago? but its a nice bag and its big. and Jack is cool. But he also got me this other one (which today i discovered my friend Megan has too!) and its so adorable! 

But right now i'm going to stick with my little bag. I got it for a reason, and i quite like it. 

besides, the only thing i wanted from him was a postcard, which he forgot at his house when he was giving me the purses he bought. sometimes he's such a tard.

But we went to blendz and he got a hot chocolate and i got a tea and we hung out in my car in the parking lot for a couple hours. i got a back massage in the end, and that was really nice. i don't usually think of myself as a tense person, but apparently i always have been. 
still, it was nice having him around so i could pick on him and slap him around and generally take my mind off of things. He's a good distraction because he's stupid and i get to threaten him (last night i was threatening him with my hot tea by tipping it every so slightly directly over his lap. it was fun). 

still. I'm surrounded by wonderfully supportive people, and i don't know what i've done to deserve such great friends.

Recently, i've been happy. Not that i was unhappy before then. I"m just... happy. Usually, now. And that's a nice feeling.  

I'm sad that Heath Ledger is dead. He was very talented. 

I think i want my funeral to be a celebration though - unless i did something really horrific and terrible. then you don't have to celebrate my life, you can cheer that i'm dead. But if i wasn't a really really terrible person when i die, then you can have a party and celebrate all the good times we shared and all that. (also? I"m totally getting cremated.)

Tonight i'm hanging out with my beloved iheartkeys. ilu sweetie. 

I think today is much better than yesterday. 

I'm still alive! I'm still doing the panic thing though. I'm going to send out everything tomorrow! so hopefully (oh god, hopefully) it'll reach all y'all in time!! if not... Happy Extended Christmas!!!! So if you want a card, RESPOND BY TOMORROW NOON AT THE LATEST HERE

Work has been ok. Haven't been overworked at all, since Chapters is kinda cutting back some ppl's hours. (It's nothing personal.) But i did get a christmas bonus from my mom's work for doing some grunt work. That made me feel all kinds of good. 

um... what else? Stitch and Bitch tonight!!! YAY!!! we're FINALLY going to eat my GIANT basket of Chocolate that i won ages and ages ago!!! 

Last week Dianne and i didn't go to the awesome place, but that's cuz i got distracted, i think. And wednesday i'm going to a birthday thing for a girl i've met once, but Jenni (no, not lilferret, sadly. My other Jenni - but i still love you lilferret!!!! *squishes* ) is kinda making me go. I'm like... a techie groupie or something.  but THURSDAY is FOR SURE Awesome Pie Place. (and i'm paying because i'm changing the schedule! so there! BWA!!!)

On Saturday i went to a club for kepp0xy's school fundraiser thing, and got kinda tipsy and started talking like Mr. Butlertron (from Clone High. I've only seen it once, but its funny!)  I almost forgot how much i love torturing hanging out with Keps is. But yeah. That was fun. Had to work sunday though. That was less fun. But i saw fun ppl, so i guess it was good.  
OH! Also on Saturday, i went to Alegria with iheartkeysand we had brekkie and saw Joy!! I love Joy so much! but she had to go, but we'll prolly see her again soon. But yes, saw some of my girls at Alegria, which was nice. Then i took Vikki home, and i went to Chapters. For like, 2.5 hours, cuz i have no life. It was my ONE DAY OFF of any type of work, and i go to my part-time job to hang out. (and buy more christmas cards.) i was going to go sooner, but then I found out that Steven was going to be there, and Craig, so i waited. And no, i'm not a stalker. I just love Steven (platonically) so very much. And Craig is awesome. So i waited, and hung out, and helped ppl out to win a contest at work. Cheating/Beating the system FTW! oh yeah!

but thats about it, i think.

so yes. I will be sending stuff that needs to be sent out tomorrow!!! *nods*

Thanks to dark_faith366 , rocksalted and i went to the Celluloid Social Club and watched some really neat short films! Zombie Walk was kind of funny, The Veil was creepy but interesting (mmm, blood pancakes!), Fido looks funny and cool (I MUST SEE IT!!), Masumi was French and Japanese and i could not read the subtitles but it looked neat, The Janitors was beautiful and sad (AND OMG CIGARETTE SMOKING MAN WAS THERE AND I SAW HIM AND THATS PROBABLY THE FIRST STAR I'VE EVER SEEN THAT CLOSE UP THAT WASN'T AT A CON!!!!), and Crossing looked interesting and Donovan Life was funny! OH! And Head Shot! MAN, that was FREAKIN HILARIOUS!!! FOR SERIOUSLY!!! *dies with laughter*
