tater_maeWell, stuff has happened since I last posted oh so many days ago.
I am now a full time employee of Ritchie Bros Auctioneers. I'm in the AR department. Why I can't escape being an accountant-like person is a mystery. (Yesterday I put in a 10 hour work day. It eerily reminded me of my mother. Oh dear god, i'm turning into her!!)
What else?
Oh yes! Canada Day!!
Well, first it was Midway. Me and the Sis took a plane down to Kelowna ($80 each, not a bad deal! And it wasn't even OUR money! Daddy's so nice!!) - less than an hour in the air!! - on Saturday. Probably ate too much while we were there. Watched a lot of MXC. Thank goodness Mimi has A/C otherwise we would have perished from the heat (please note that I've lived in Richmond BC for my whole life. Anything near 30 degrees Celsius is hot for me, and anything over is cruel). Was there until Tuesday (we took off Monday from work to hang out with the fam!!) It was nice, just chillin with my family, not doing anything major besides eating. Oh, we went for a couple walks and everything, but other than that, it was pretty slack.
Tuesday we were on the road at 730 am, got home around 130 pm. Both Mares and I had Canada Day plans, but we were just so tired of being in a car for 6 hours, we contacted our respective friends and bailed. And around 3 we both took naps. I woke up 3 hours later, and then got a call from Steve telling me to go to the BBQ i bailed on. Since i was feeling better, i decided to do so.
Spent time at the Roddens', hung out with baby Kaeda,skullycat, goldenrockstar, Steve, Christina, Nate, and Emily. Good times were had.
Tomorrow i have plans withkepp0xy to watch more Doctor Who. We're on Series 2 now. I'll do another post on how i feel about the show so far. I'm running out of time right now.
Then I have tentative plans on Saturday, and Sunday is dinner with Erin, our family friend! YAY!!
But yes.
OMG COMIC CON IS COMING UP SOON. YOU GUYS! ITS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!

Date: 2008-07-04 07:34 pm (UTC)and OMG I KNOW!! i feel like i should start packing, but i'll need the clothes that i pack before then probably. And i'm so packing LESS than i did last time. still. OH GOD. IT'S SO CLOSE, I CAN FEEL MY SQUEE BUILDING UP.
i also have to stop at a Booth for Mares, since her fave Author is going. hee!
