Bah Humbug!
Nov. 12th, 2009 02:20 pmAm currently fighting a cold. (i may or may not have one, and trying to get rid of it). i dislike being sick. The fact that i did not go to work monday (and slept for 6 hours after calling in sick) and went home mid-day tuesday (and slept for 4 hours after watching the Lakehouse {why? i don't know} ) means nothing.
Wednesday was Remembrance Day, and I woke up feeling fine. Then i went over to Karen's to help her load everything into a U-Haul Truck as she moved to Victoria. I... am indifferent. It's not like anything is going to change really. I did not cry as we said goodbye, nor did i cry when i got home or before i went to sleep (like Drew thought I might). So she's on the island. She might come back from time to time, and... as much as i hate to admit it, i might go there. Don't ask me why I dislike the island so much, i just do. I don't think i've ever had a stellar time there (besides going to the museum with my family, but that was about.... 10 years ago, and it wasn't Stellar, it was just good).
Then i went home, had a nap, and then my sis and I went to Dad's for 2nd Thanksgiving. Ok, so... my grandmother on my dad's side (ida) was a little miffed that we went to Midway for Thanksgiving. THIS? Is not unusual. We pretty much ALWAYS go to Midway for Thanksgiving. Whatever, she wanted to have Thanksgiving dinner with us, so dad said sure, we'll have one with her. Ok, so yesterday? Dad asks us to ask her if she wanted a plate of food, or for us to go downstairs and eat with her. She said it didn't matter, so we sent a plate down. seriously, what was the point then? I mean, i'm all for family dinners, but seriously? i don't get it. whatever. got some Daddy Time in, which is always nice. We watched a couple of strange movies (all of them, we came in half-way in.)
Then we left, and me n Mares headed straight for Sarah's house, as it was Wednesday and Glee was on. My dearest Sarah had H1N1, but she's ok. She was pretty pale when i saw her, but she wasn't bad.
Anyway, Glee was good. ( However... )
Anyway, its Mentalist night tonight!! I'm excited!! And i'm seeing![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kepp0xy (plus friend?) on Saturday to watch Merlin!! yay!!
