tater_maezomg so bored!!
however, am happy, since i celebrated my b-day on sat therefore i got to open my presents!
hee! *glees*
seriously, at first i really thought fate hated me and didn't want me to have a laptop. (i lost Betty before the week was through. Dad sent her back. She didn't work that well. Still... she was cool).
So on Saturday for my b-day, o'course i get a new laptop!!! yays! *glees* *flails* *squees* *iz happy*
but then daddy couldn't find the mac address or something, so he took new laptop away for a while. i got pouty.
Then on sunday, after work, i came home and new lappie was working! yays! *glees* *squees*
sadly, new lappie does not as of yet have a name. not betty, cuz i don't want another Betty incident. and certainly not 'Bethanie' as my mother would like to call it.
See, we were watching Supernatural on thursday, and some girl's name was Bethanie, and my mom's all, i like that name. and i'm all, meh, and then she turns to me and she's all, i think i should have named you that, and then i'm all, NOOOOOOO! Geez, it took me awhile to like my name. i haven't ever liked the name bethanie. then she's all, i think that's what i'll do. i'll rename you bethanie, is that ok, Bethanie? So then i get all ranty at her and i'm all, I'm not bethanie, i'm Caitlin! shut up! and she's all, What was that Bethanie? I didn't hear you. and then pretty much from that point on when i spoke or when she wanted to speak to me, she called me Bethanie (note, this is not verbatim. this happened on thursday and it is currently monday. besides, i never remember stuff the way it actually happened. but this is close enough)
So o'course when i got my new lappie and i was all, what am i going to name my new lappie, mom was all, Bethanie! and i was all, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
yeah... i'm good at telling stories.

good lord, i'm bored!
now i'm rhyming. someone please shoot me now.
i'm 21 tomorrow. (mmmm.. chicken cutlets for dinner! *yums*)

last week, in the most boringest class evar, i wrote a full page of "La"s. That's right. the page was entirely made up of the word 'la'. that's how bored i was.
this isn't nearly as bad as that though. i could always turn on the tv.
OOH! sudoku! i'm so going to do that instead!
my Lovely Amazing Talented Sister Maren got me a purse, A Happy Bunny Sudoku book, AND, a year's subscription to Stargate Magazine.
yes, i'm that much of a geek.
shut up. i enjoy it.
yeah, so i got all that stuff, my lappie, and then my grandmother got me a mouse to go with my new lappie, and a memory stick-thinger. Yeah, she so did not go shopping for me herself. Plus, she gave me another kleenex box, who i've dubbed "Box's friend". he lives in the living room. Box is awfully light though. I'll just refill him when he's empty. I'm not giving up Box.
oh, and dinner at the Keg was yummy too. And daddy got an absurdly large birthday cake. seriously, i don't know if the four of us can eat it all. oh well.
(this is how bored i am. i'm just rambling. i'm sure this would have been a post sometime, but still, this post started out as a means to escape utter and total boredom)
