tater_mae | Good News/Bad News

I'll start with the good news, and put the bad news under a cut, in case ppl don't wanna read me whining.

Good News:

Had dinner with

iheartkeys yesterday. Pasta Tuesdays at Boston Pizza. Was yummeh. Had my tortellini BUT this time i had tomato sauce!!! (oooooooooh, something that ISN'T alfredo sauce!!)

Tonight is good tv night - Criminal Minds and CSI: New York. YAY!!!

Tomorrow is hang out with

kepp0xy day. Since she hardly even REMEMBERS the Indiana Jones Trilogy (IF she's even seen it! O_O rite!) we plan on watching at least the FIRST one tomorrow.

I also might go see The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull with my sis as well.

Saturday I'm going to see it with Steve and Antony for sure though. (seriously? I going to get to see this movie at least 3 more times! EEE!!! Once with Vikki, once with the guys, possibly Keps... who knows who else will wanna see it!! Thank goodness for my Scene card!!!)

Um... I think that's it for Good News.

Ok, so my company is merging with another company. I learned this close to the end of April. So in May the ppl from the new company came over and said 'don't worry. We'll try to find a place for all of you'. So they came in for interviews and stuff like that.

We're merging June 1st. Today i find out I'm not going to be a part of the new company. I saw it coming, so i'm not that upset.

What bugs me is that I've had this job for a Year and a Half. I hate looking for new jobs. I have a few things in mind for new jobs. My sister's BFF Josie works part time at the Bay, and she said they were looking for people. So i've already sent Josie my resume to give to her boss. One of my dispatchers here/my friend Eva has also told me her friend at a Pub (close to where I live) is desperate for servers. Eva is also trying to get her Friend to hire me as her assistant. (I seriously don't know what i did to make Eva like me so much, but its awesome!!)

So those are a few options I have. If push comes to shove, I might apply at my Mom's old place of business. As weird as that might be, it might work out okay. But we'll see how things pan out.

Now, i get to stay at my current job until about mid-June, just to help close it down. So thats cool. But after June I'm screwed. ish. If i don't have anything by then.

So... like i said. I'm just gonna see how things pan out.

At least i have money saved for San Diego!
