ok. i'm ok. i just had to get that out right away. i was soooooooo excited.
seriously, yesterday was probably one of the best days of my life. being a geek is sooooooo much fun! i met some really great people yesterday and it was soo much fun!
Gary Jones is super funny. I was laughing so much i was crying. And Joe Flanigan is so pretty. *yums* He's so not used to being at a con like this where people know everything. Martin Gero is funny too. He's probably one of my favorite writers. And Michael Shanks is hilarious! He's used to these type of things so he was pretty easy going. (Congrats on the Baby!)
still. so much fun. Can't even hardly explain how great it was. Must go again next year. Love being a geek.
I could hardly speak when I got Joe's autograph. He was all, Hi, How are you? and then i was all, OMGSOEXCITEDHOWARE YOU!?, in my excited, really fast-talking way. he's so pretty up close. *sighs dreamily*
Then Michael Shanks (who's line was ridiculously long, but so totally worth it), who's also so pretty up close, was really nice. I think he asked me the same question and i might have answered the same. exactly the same. *sighs dreamily again*
Then it was Gary Jones and Martin Gero at the same table. I totally made a fool of myself in front of Gary. It was fun. I have this bear that i watch stargate with. He's my Walter Bear. i had a pic of him before but i took it down. anyway, so i had this little nametag with Gary's pic on that we got at the beginning of the con, and I made Gary sign it, but what i said to him was, THISISFORMY WALTERBEARWHOWATCHESSTARGATEWITHMECANYOUSIGNIT?, he was all, wuh? your what?, and i was all, ITSFORMYWALTERBEARINAMEDHIMAFTERYOU!, and he was all, ooooooooo-kaaaaay..., so that was really fun. Then i got Martin Gero to sign my Atlantis DVD box set (which i brought so me and sheena could watch the dvds while we waited since we got there hella early but that's ok) and i think he was pretty happy since he was all, Hey! this is the first thing that's somebody brought for me to sign, (or something like that. i can't exactly remember, i was too busy being crazy-insane excited). so i was all, ITHINKYOU'REREALLYFUNNY (and i might have said he was my favorite writer, but i can't remember right now. there were many things going on in my head that i might have not said that i think i said), then he asked me what my fave ep was and I answered him then i danced away cuz i was so happy and exicted and practically hyperventilating.
Anyways, Sheena and I met this other girl, whose name is ALSO Cait, and who's also from Richmond, who is so totally my new friend, anyway, she totally loves Joe. So when she got his autograph, he was all, Hey, how are you. And she said she totally blanked. So she said (with a completely straight face), I'm from Vancouver. And Joe's all, what?, and she's all, There's only four of us here. And Joe's all, huh? because it was a total lie and he was still kinda like ooooooooo-kaaaaaaaay... even after she left. but she told us that she totally blanked out and the first thing that popped into her head was, I like your chest (or something like that) and she didn't want to say that, so she said I'm from Vancouver. (even though she's actually from richmond) So we had a really good laugh about that.
We met this other lady Fran, who was sitting beside me and Sheena, and she's really cool. She's from Washington. She was really nice and told us some cool stories and all that. So we made a couple of new friends. *Yay! for cons!!*
Then there was Tammy. She was a volunteer and she was sooooooo funny. She was all, i get to make fun of you guys cuz that makes my day go faster, and makes it more interesting. so we were all, Wow, Tammy's so cool! So we joked around with her while we were in the lines. So funny. heh. Ducks.
anyway. yeah. *sighs*
Seriously. Best Day of My Life.
or at least one of them.
