tater_maeOk. I will admit to having a rather... dedicated personality.
So what if I've seen Harry Potter three times? (Once with my mom, once with main group of friends, and once with work-friends - IMAX BABY!!).
So what if tomorrow i'll be seeing Hairspray for the third time? So what if i rented High School Musical AND the original Hairspray? So what if i got the new Hairspray soundtrack on my iPod a day after i saw the movie and it's pretty much the only thing i listen to?
Its called DEDICATION people! I'm a dedicated fan!
last week i rented BOTH Terminators so i could fully understand the Sarah Connor Chronicles that's coming out this fall (and you should all watch) !
It's not easy! This is hard work, and i spend a fair amount of money doing this!
It take endurance! determination! force of will!
If being a dedicated fan was a job, i'd be making millions!

On Saturday night, i saw Kerry!
First off, my day was pretty chill. after waking up around 11am (because i had an awesome night on Friday! Thanks Kyle!!!!!) i was hungry and my sis asked if we should have muffins or pancakes with our bacon and eggs. I said muffins, so she had to decide which kind she wanted to make. I watched Terminator 2 as she cooked, and we had planned on cleaning that day. So we did a little bit of cleaning, then got distracted by S2 of the X-Files. So we watched a couple of those, and I went off to do some errands, and I came back, and we went to dinner at Earls, and we watched another ep of the X-Files when Kerry msgs me to tell me he's back in town and would i like to hang.
So OF COURSE i say YES because its KERRY and he lives in Peachland and we rarely get to see each other anymore!
So we go to the Foggy Dew and he buys us a few rounds of drinks, and we talk about life and what's been happening with us and my (lack of) love life and his love life and everything. So after drinks we go to his buddy Craig's house and we hang out there a while, and then its like 1am and we decide its late and should go home. But yeah, i love Love LOVE hanging out with Kerry. He's such an interesting person and i love the way he loves life and he's such a gentleman and i always wish the best for him.
We both agreed that we didn't like keeping up with each other on msn since it made hanging out so much better. I love talking to Kerry face to face. He's the kind of friend that we can see each other after months of NOT seeing each other and we just pick up where we left off. Which is kind of funny since Lindsey is like that too and she lives in Kelowna.

Oh, sunday...
So i asked Darlene if i could shelve since I don't really know anything about the floor.
So i shelved, and i re-stickered things, and shelved some more, and while i was shelving, i found an Erotica book in the kids section (and this happens a lot more than we would all like). So i went to go put it back, and was horrified.
The Erotica section was a complete mess! There was no order to it! I was aghast! So after putting the book randomly on the shelf, i went to Darlene as asked her if after i was done shelving if I could fix the Erotica section.
She kind of looked at me and asked, Seriously? No one ever wants to go near Erotica. and I explained to her what had just happened and my complete disgustedness in the state it was in. So she said go for it.
So for about 2-3 hours i spent re-organizing Erotica (which only takes up one Shelving Unit). I was so happy with my work, i asked Darlene if i could claim it and make sure it stayed all nice and neat. She was more than happy to give it to me.
The rest of my co-workers thought it was rather funny that i actually wanted to have Erotica and clean it up since No One ever wants to go near it. But i didn't really pay attention to any of the books, i just looked at the author(s), and made sure if it was an anthology or not. Easy as pie.
but yes. that's all for now. i might post in a few days time to once again say how awesome Hairspray was.
