But yes, i've cut back on posting just about everyday. mostly because i've been working a lot lately and haven't had much to say.

UNTIL NOW!! *bwa hahahas*

anyway, on Saturday morning i was scheduled to work at 9:30 am, so around 9:10ish, i'm doing my hair, and my mom calls for me from the tv room!

"Cait! Cait! Atlantis!"

So naturally, in the middle of doing my hair, i race to the tv room, and its Seige 3! and i'm all

"Seige 3! I love this ep!" and my mom looks at me like i'm crazy cuz i know which ep it is from seeing about 3 seconds of it and i love most if not all the eps anyway.

So i sit on the floor and finish doing my hair and i watch for a few minutes. Meanwhile, Shep's all, "Elizabeth! Atlantis, what's your status?" and Lizzie's all "We're still here." And i think it was after the hug my mom looks at me and she's like, "So, are Weir and Shep BFF?" (she actually said BFF too) And i'm all, "oh, yeah, totally. They're totally BFF." even tho in my head i was all, "of course they're bff! they're in love with each other!!!" (my mom's not quite a shipper. But she knows that i love Lizzie and Shep and McKay. I heart them so much. but, anyways...) but then it got to 9:20 and i was all, "boo. work time" (i live less than 10 minutes away from where i work.) and my mom's all, "you've seen this episode already. Don't you own season 2 anyway?" and i was all, that's not even the point, but then i left for work and that was the end of it.

it's all cuz of my mom that i heart Atlantis. i blame her entirely. well, her and my sis.

See, i was a total SG-1 diehard fan. sorta. i mean, i didn't watch it when it started. but i'd catch the occasional episodes and think, yeah, this show isn't bad. It actually wasn't until season 8 that i became a total diehard fan and rented/bought seasons 1-8 on dvd.

But my mom would also occasionally watch Atlantis when it was on (i love having digital cable. and i love movie central.)

i think the one of the first eps i watched was Hot Zone, where Shep and Teyla were stick fighting. I saw down for a few minutes and i was all, so is he the Jack-type character? and she was all, yeah. and then i was all, is she the love interest? is this foreplay? and my mom was all, yeah. and then i got bored, or i went to go on the computer. So i didn't stay long. Then months and months later (i can't remember if it was before of after my World Wide Trip), the next ep i remember seeing was Condemned. But i only saw a little of that ep too. All i remember from that ep was seeing the Wraith eating with the Magistrate. and mom was all, these guys are so creepy! and i was all, what is it? I also remember catching a bit of Conversion, but he was all Bug!Shep and i wasn't that interested.

but yeah. She's the one who actually started watching Atlantis. And i was kind of against it. I was all, It's a spin off! I'M A PURIST!!!

i didn't give Atlantis the time of day!

Then i went off and did my world travelling where i met so many great people! Including Andrew! One of my aussie buddies! and he liked Stargate! Both of them. So we got to talking about sci-fi and how much i loved SG-1 and he was all, do you watch atlantis? and i was all, no. i watch sg-1. and he was all, atlantis is really good! you should watch it! and i was all, yeah, maybe later.

And then xmas came around. my sis and i had seasons 4-8 of SG-1, so then we got seasons 1-3 for xmas, and she got me Atlantis! at first i was all, um... thanks.

cuz Atlantis? As far as i was concerned? not my cup of tea.

But then after eating brekkie, we put it on. and at first i was all, whatever about it.

I think it was The Storm/The Eye that made me fall in love with it. (and fall in love with Lizzie/John).

I'm ashamed to say it, but at first, i was all, Weir, whatever. She tried to take Hammond's job! *grrs*
and really stupid stuff like that. *hangs head down in SHAME!!!*

but i love Lizzie! cuz she's so full of the awesomeness its not even funny. but yes.

(i'm sorry i didn't love you before Lizzie. cuz now i'm very much in love with you. I heart you like whoa!)

but yeah. Waiting impatiently until July. (its too far awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.)

What else?

Saw Drewbie and Ryan on that day that i said i had lunch with Drew. Ryan was also there. We had fish and chips. Ok, Dave's Fish and Chips? OMG SO GOOD! probably some of the best fish and chips EVAR!!

OOH! which totatlly reminds me that i've finally NAMED MY LAPTOP!!!

*drumrolls*

His name is Navarre!

I got the name from Ladyhawk. (has anyone seen that movie? its really good. with a super young Matthew Broderick, and a young Michelle Pfeifer. and Rutger Hauer) But anyways. Yes. He finally has a name after many months of being nameless.

(and i know how the segue must seem, except it wasn't the fish and chips that reminded me, it was the 'EVAR' bit that did, cuz sometimes, when i'm being geeky [which is usually] and i'm with my fam [most likely my sis] sometimes i say, never! NEVER! NEVAAAAAAAAAAR!!!!, which brings me to Navarre. See? not that much of a stretch.)

anyhoo.

On... friday night, i went bowling with the Guys (Drew, Ryan, Jamieson and Richard). Well, we got the to The Zone at silvercity and sheena calls me and is all, I'm just finishing up work at Spag, and i'm all, OMG! I'MRIGHTBESIDEYOUCOMEHANGOUTWITHUS!!!!!!!, so she does. We watch the guys bowl (or, play bowling, as i had said earlier.)

i spent most the the time either giving back massages or back rubs to my boyfriends. i was a good girlfriend that night. well, sorta.

anyway, afterwards, we went to BP for something to drink/eat. Jamieson said to sheena that they should start a band, and sheena said they could play at weddings (i'm sure there's more to that convo, but i wasn't really paying attention.)

and i was all, who's getting married?
and everyone's all, uh... kyle and vikki!
and i'm all, am i invited?
and everybody said no.
so i made a sad face, and ryan said "you can come as my guest."
so i was all, guest? come as your guest???
and he nods then drew's all, you can be my date, so i turn back to ryan and was all, you guested me?
and then he knew he had said the wrong thing, and i got all girlfriend on his ass again and went on about how he could guest someone else since i was drew's date.
then he tried to make excuses about how i was his special guest lover and how i didn't let him finish the sentence.
so i forgave him eventually and then we were all tired so we went home.

(wow. i just looked over my grammer, and it sucks. but i'm too lazy to fix it.)

and i'm going camping for a night tomorrow. as sheena's b-day is on thursday and i would very much like to do something with her. *nods*

but yes.

i watched two eps of The Pretender this morning. Cuz the guy in Bank? Clave? he was in ~~some other show (where he was a bad guy, naturally)~~ Criminal Minds and he was some sort of Hallucination that told the guy who was Hallucinating lies. (cuz you know, he was a hallucination.) and it reminded me of The Pretender, so i pulled out my Season 2, and first watched Gigolo Jarod (cuz i think that's a pretty Shippy ep. SHUT UP I KNOW I'M ADDICTED TO BEING A SHIPPER! ALL RIGHT? I KNOW! jeez.) then put on Bank (cuz i totally love that ep cuz of all the interaction and the whole "you two together?" "it's complicated" makes my little shipper heart squee. *sighs* )

july is gonna be an awesome month. Season 3 of Atlantis AND season 4 of The Pretender (on dvd)? oh yeah. that's what i'm talkin about.
