tater_maei just remembered about christmas. well, not JUST remembered, since i know it happens every year and all that, but i just thought about shopping. I should really get on that soon.
also? my facebook addiction has started up again, sorta. i've been more active on it recently. which made me think of my beloved lj, and how i've been ignoring it. i check out my flist when i get home from work, but i'm not very active. i should try and remedy that. or make it one of my new years resolutions (look at me, planning for the future! go me!)
my work xmas party is coming up soon, and i don't know if my sis wants to go this year. i was kinda thinking of taking someone else, but i don't know who. Drew? Steve?? I talk about my guys a lot, so i figure maybe the xmas party would be a good chance for my work friends to meet them, you know? i've still got a few days to decide - i've got to rsvp by the Nov 10th.
what else? no new glee tonight, which makes me a little sad. But i'm still hanging out with Sarah.
My Halloween was pretty good. actually, last weekend was pretty good. Went to my friend Angie's party on friday, where I met Miguel, my new friend. He's totally adorable, and i luv him. Saturday i basically spent with Karen (how did i survive??), but we got our costumes together fairly nicely (she went as a Gangster's Girlfriend, and I went as a Lounge Singer - basically, we just got dressed up in fancy clothes, but we looked awesome, so its all good). We went to some Pub on the shady side of Vancouver where the Band was playing. Guess who was there? My new friend Miguel!! The band invited him, and he came out, and he's so much fun!
I realized on Friday that i have this love for suspenders that I never knew i had. and Miguel was dressed up like a Gangster, and he was wearing suspenders, and i basically loved him for that. But whatever. he's a sweetie. he didn't mind driving 3 somewhat intoxicated girls back into Richmond, even though one of them (not me) wasn't sure if she was going to throw up or not. but she didn't!! and we made it to the house ok!
Sunday was pretty chill. i didn't have a hangover (but i only had a jagerbomb, a single screwdriver and then 3 double screwdrivers), which was nice, but me and mares had brekkie with Karen & Kaeda, then hung out at home. it was a nice way to end the weekend.
AND and and! I'm doing my 9-Day fortnight again, so this means I have every other friday off! and this friday is my FIRST day off. So me and Karen are going to do some Wedding stuff before we go to Scenery In Stereo's last show for a while. The band will be on hiatus for about a month, but thats ok. I'm looking forward to friday.
anything else? i don't think so. Hope everyone's life is going well and such!
