i love atlantis. i can't help but be a sci-fi geek. and i love it even more that i can d/l the eps, watch them, then watch them again with my sis on the tv since we have this cable that allows me to use the tv as a screen for my lappy. it makes me all kinds of happy.
yes, i'm a geek. and i totally love it.

Ok, so i know i haven't been squeeing that much since Atlantis has returned, and yes, i have watched both aired eps since i've downloaded them since i can't wait til august when it'll be on Movie Central.
BUT i've been too busy squeeing in silent to actually post about it. Plus, i didn't think anyone who actually read my lj would care. but whatever. i don't care that you don't care, i have to get my squee out!!!
No Man's Land: It was pretty good. Not "Siege III" good, but still, good. Lizzie kicking ass verbally, totally floats my boat. Shep being hot also churns my gurnsey. Lorne in the Captains Chair of the Orion? Yeah, it also made my panties go poof. cuz *damn*. Go TEAM B on the Orion! (Lorne and Zelenka) at least, thats what i think my sister called them. THEN! then they blew it up! how much does that suck! but having the Orion would have been too easy i guess. but still. *pouts* Lorne looked SO good in the Captains char. Shep looked good in it too. *yums*
Also loving the sort of Lizzie/Teyla friendship. And!!! And all the first naming that went around! it was like, orgasmic! well, not really. but it made me very happy. And i hope tptb build more on the Lizzie/Teyla friendship. that would be all kinds of awesome.
which, for some reason, brings me back to the maggot in my brain that wishes Atlantis was just one big orgy where everyone had sex all the time with everyone. i know. i'm sick and i need help. whatever. i've got my ship, but still. i would also love it muchly if everyone loved each other and sexed up all the time. together. all the time.
but that's off topic and slightly disturbing, so yes. back to me squeeing.
Michael was fairly awesome as well.
and i totally love Lorne. And Caldwell is pretty cool too.
Misbegotten: i just have to say this is the bestest ep so far. and yes, i know there's only been two, so shut up. but OMG!!!! OMGOMGOMG!!!! the whole 'welcome home' scene was SO. FUCKING. AWESOME! what with the intense eyesex that went on. He never took his eyes off her! and she totally looked at him the longest! it was intense! i don't think he's ever looked at her that way! And! and the way he was all, you don't have to say it, when she got all choked up over having her team back!
and Rodney was awesome with the, she's hungry too?, to lighten the mood. Oh Rodney, how i love you.
THEN!!! then with the office scene!!! and the questioning scene before that! he totally first named her in front of the IOA! that makes me all sorts of gleeful!
but the office scene with the head knocking, and the pure SMITTEN-NESS OF IT ALL!!! what with the 'John Sheppard, are you defending my honour.' which he totally slipped up on! since he didn't even realize that he was doing that! the little pause before he starts talking again, since he its like he just realized, oops, shouldn't have said that. or something. i dunno. i was too busy SQUEEING WITH GLEE AND FANGIRLINESS!!!! that scene was so cute!!!!!! the home scene made my panties go poof. this one was utterly adorable.
THEN! slightly off topic but not really, at the comic con, JOE kissed TORRI! and the fangirl in me who actually likes rpf totally squeed. thats right. most ppl are all, rpf is bad. these are real people who have families and blah blah blah.
BUT THEY ARE SOOOOOOOO HOT! AND TOGETHER THEY'RE EVEN HOTTER! WHICH SHOULD BE ALL SORTS OF ILLEGAL! AND THE CHEMISTRY! AND I DUNNO! SOMETHING ABOUT THEM THATS INDESCRIBABLE THAT JUST MAKES IT SO AWESOME!
and i know that's no excuse, but i'm sorry. there are people out there who write such good stories that i got sucked in. i know, its my fault since i clicked the link, but still. i'm allowed to be curious, ok? OK?
i don't regret it. i won't ever. cuz its just too good.
and someone needs to make an sgarpf comm right now. so i can join and feed my horrible, but oh so yummy, addiction.
