Previously on tater_mae

So. I spent last week at my Dad's place. He went to Costa Rica for a week, and my grandmother didn't want to be home alone at night. So, like the dutiful (grand)daughter I was, I volunteered (as my sister and grammy don't get along very well). I had a curfew of 8pm.

This started on thursday night. So I was there, and It was fine. Watched tv, played lots of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Friday, Keppy came over!!!! She was only going to pop by for an hour or so, but she ended up leaving around 3am (which is pretty much on par for our nights together). We stayed up talking about Merlin, and how much we love Arthur/Gwen shippiness, and watched a few episodes. kepp0xy is totally my fandom buddy. I love squeeing with her, and talking meta with her. We have awesome fandom talks.

Saturday, I hung out with Mares. We saw Dad's cousin who lives in Richmond, and we chatted for a little bit. then me and mares went back to our place, hung out and watched movies. Around 6 or 8, i went back to Dad's, as per my curfew, played more Wii, and went to bed.

Sunday, dad's cousin and his wife popped by for a visit with my grandmother. She wrangled all of us for dinner (kfc) and I texted Maren to save me afterwards, which she did. She called, pretending to be a friend in need of comfort, and I zipped out of there as fast as I could. We hung out for a couple hours, then I went back. It was nice to escape.

Don't get me wrong, I love my family, but my grandmother... She's not my favourite person ever. When we were younger, she favoured me. Obviously, and a lot. Now that I'm older, I can see it a lot better, and I don't approve. And my sister genuinely doesn't like her. My Nana (my mom's mom) never favoured any of her granddaughters - she loves us all equally. But Grammy... she tries to bribe me with money and things to do stuff for her. I'll do them, she doesn't need to pay me, but she does anyway. its always felt like a bribe, and I don't like it.

Monday night, I went to Kieran's for a dinner party. Kinda of. He got a deep fryer so he cooked up some food for me, kyle and goodman (and his hot Brother). So that was nice. I got home at 8-ish, played on the wii, watched tv, and went to bed.

Tuesday Maren stayed over at Dad's. We watched tv and played Lego Indiana Jones on the wii. Its a very confusing game and I'm not sure I liked it all that much, but it was still pretty fun. I was just very confused.

Wednesday skullycat and Kaeda slept over!! I went to work early and left early as I had a doctor's appointment, then went to her place for a couple hours and we played WoW, then got our stuff together, picked up dinner, and headed to Dad's. We watched some tv, played some Wii (are you noticing a trend??),  talked, watched a couple episodes of S2 of Bones and went to bed at 1030. We were both so tired, it wasn't funny. I could barely stay awake for our last episode of Bones.  I kicked them out of the house pretty early, but Karen had stuff to do later that day and she said it was fine, so I took them home and went to work. Kaeda was pretty good, and she didn't fall out of the bed like we were worried about. That kid is so cute. When we were eating dinner (Italian Tomato is SO yummy, btw!) Kaeda and I shared my meal. She barely even touched Karen's. so i felt special. Bwa.

Thursday was the night Daddy was coming home, so I was at Dad's, watched tv, played the wii, went to bed around 11pm.

Friday morning he was there, and we talked for a little bit about his trip, then I went to work. Had another doc appointment that morning, where blood was taken, came back to work, worked for a couple hours, went home early because I was super tired, went back to Dad's to pick up all my crap, went home, played the sims until my sister got home. Then we do what we usually do - hang out and watch tv/movies. Which is what we did on the weekend as well.

yeah... we're kinda lame.

This week, on Friday, I have dinner plans with goldenrockstar and skullycat . So that will be fun.

But yes. I love the sims. and in Wow, our characters are now lvl 26.

I am a geek. i know.
