My Weekend

Boys are funny.

Friday I hung out with my beloved

kepp0xy. we finished off Wonderfalls!! (Seriously, if you haven't seen that show yet, you should. Its awesome. <3 Eric. and Aaron.) Keps was worried for a bit there on that last disc, but in the end she was satisfied. Which is good. 

I miss Wonderfalls, and I think it would have been interesting to see where they would have taken it past season 1. But oh well. (Curse you Fox! Curse you!!)

Saturday i had to work, and that was... okay, i guess. Whatever, its another few dollars here and there to go to Comic Con!! Then i called Drew and we made plans. He and Jamerz picked me up a couple hours after I got off work and we went to DQ for dinner - they wanted to try the new waffle bowl thingys. then we went back to Drew's and played Rock Band, but not before Jamerz once again tried to watch a movie on the XBox and failed. 

So we played Rock Band and they made me sing (like, 3 songs. ugh) and then Jamieson made me play on medium for the rest of the night. oh well. STILL. this has something to do with the whole 'boys are funny'. So we were playing Rock Band (and by this time Kieran had arrived) and Drew was drumming and Jamieson was Guitar and they had started a song that we'd been having a hard time with, and since i didn't have to play right away, i cracked my back. and kieran asked me what i was doing. so i replied 'masturbating'. 
and i swear, they all did a double take. and then drew blamed me when we failed the song. 
but seriously? Come on! I was cracking my back! it was a stupid question! boys are so ridiculous. I guess that's why i keep them around though.

Yesterday I hung out with Kerry for a bit. We talked for a bit then started watching Magnolia. But we didn't get to finish it because i had to go to my parents place for mothers day dinner. and me and mares had to pick up some flowers for our grandmother. But dad made yummy food and i got mares $100 GC for Chapters from the Kitties (and i have great timing since she was going to place her May Order online that night or smth). 

Then we went to get the waffle bowl thingies from DQ and slurpies and went home to watch TMNT.

Please note that if you loved the ORIGINAL Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, you may want to NOT WATCH this movie. I got it as a birthday present and was told that it was good.
I have to disagree. I'm sorry. It was just wrong. There were a couple parts i didn't mind, but... like... it felt like there were 2 different story lines kinda and then they tried to smush them together... i dunno. it felt wrong. But April and Casey were together, and that was ok. Still... i dunno. I don't know if i can watch it again. There were parts that just went against every fibre of my being. It made me feel yucky. (and yes, i understand that its a cartoon and everything, but it was ruining my childhood. so there).


All in all, i had a good weekend. Saw my Keppy, saw my Kerry, saw my guys, spent time with the fam. This weekend i'll be spending time with more fam. its gonna be awesome. 

And when i get home, my beloved  iheartkeys will also be home!!! yay!!!! *throws confetti*
