In which Cait hangs out with Mares

so i had work yesterday and it was kind of slow but it didn't suck that much since i was working with people i like.

Then i got home, had a shower, and i kinda fell asleep while on msn (sorry Drew.)

then around 430 my sis is all, Wake up! Are you coming to the picnic today with me?

and i was all, hn?, (as i was napping and my brain hadn't woken up yet.)

so it was either go to her work type picnic thing, or stay at home. alone. 

So we had to grab a table as there were 20 going in total (even though, no, there wasn't.)

but anyway, there were insane amounts of food. 

seriously, it was crazy.

And Josie tried to kill me.

(btw, Josie is pretty much Maren's best friend. and she's awesome. i love Josie.)

well, she tried to kill me with food. she brought lots of food and opened stuff up while we waited for people. so i ate lots before everybody was actually there. stupid french fries and stupid veggies and dip. *grrs*

anyhoo. there were toys to play with, but i had much fun watching my sister play with bubbles and talking geek with a couple of her co-workers who also like Stargate. (yay! Geeks Unite!!)

but yes. so the picnic was deathly in that there was way to much food. and i wanted to keep eating. 

and i won a prize. But everybody won a prize. so it's all good. (when my number was called, i pretended it was like Price Is Right b/c we had sort of joked about that.)

then Me and Mares and Josie and Darlene (another friend/co-worker of theirs) went to Night Market. *yays*

I was all, i've only really been to the Night Market with Boys. I did meet up with Aggie, but we had like, 10 minutes to shop.

this time we had like, an hour and a half. so i bought stuff. a hair clip thing (its really pretty), some earrings to kind of match it, another two pairs of earrings, and a ring/bracelet thing that matches one of the other pair of earrings. I have to go back and find a necklace to match the hair clip and the earrings though. (its just something i have to do. I hate having my neck bare, ok?)

but yes. going to the night market with girls is fun! funner than the boys, at least. (not to be mean to the boys or anything. Just... well.... i'm  girl. going shopping with girls is fun. i don't have to worry about them being bored or waiting endlessly for me to finish browsing or anything.)

So yes.

I'm really really happy me and my sis get along.

and we're geeks together. and we have many shows/movies to watch. Even though we've watched them a zillion times and pretty much know them word for word. which is why we have to watch them again. We were kind of quoting stuff at the picnic. (Wonderfalls being one of them.)

but yes. just wanted to tell peoples that i went on a picnic type thing yesterday. and i had a good time. 

not that you guys care. but i'm bored. i'm waiting for my sis to get home so we can go shopping. (there are dvds i must buy, dammit!!!)

and eat dinner too. 

but yes. 

(i say that a lot too, along with  'seriously').



and i can't wait for friday to happen so i can d/l atlantis on saturday. i'm very excited for it.  hee. its gonna be all about my girlfriend. *yays* *glees* *flails* *dies*

she's so pretty. *drools*
