I'm still alive... (sorta)
its been... longish for me since i've posted. and no, its not because i have a life, so don't worry, you needn't die of shock.
what have i been up to this last little while?
Um... Wednesday i had a non-date with Antony. We went to White Spot for lunch. (I had a salad as i am on a cleanse/detox. go me.)
Afterwards, we went shopping. He wanted to find a gift for his gf (something pink and shiny). then he had to buy a cell. so we did that. then as we were leaving we saw Karen and Steve, and they mooched a ride. I returned home (only to go grocery shopping as i am cleansing.) later, i went to Ryan's roller hockey game. they lost. but only because there were only 7 people. so yeah.
um.... i'm totally blanking on what i did on thursday. seriously? i can't remember. maybe it'll come back to me. (though, if it doesn't that won't surprise me either.)
friday i had the day off. sorta. i ran errands (took the grandmother grocery shopping, then she had to buy flowers at the Super Grocer. so. much. fun. [/sarcasm] )
ummmm... i rented Serenity and Cutting Edge: Going for the Gold on Wednesday.
back to.. whatever. where was i?
oh yes. friday. i returned said movies. ( i watched the commentary for Serenity before returning it. yes, i am that kind of a geek).
um... went to dinner with my sister who's house/dog sitting. we went to earls since she wanted ribs. i had a salad. it was good. then we went to future shop where i spent lots of money. i bought Firefly as a DVD set, AND, Space: Above and Beyond the series. (funnily enough, both series got cancelled. huh.) i might have bought sims business as well, but it doesn't work yet. i haven't tried everything yet, so we'll see.
went back to the apartment, where sister and i watched the pilot of S:AaB. it was bad. i quite enjoyed it. then i got kicked out since Josie was going to hang out with Mares. I got home, i was going to play the sims, but i called they guys cuz i said i would, even though it was 1030. i got guilted into going over to Drew's "party". it was fun. drew fell asleep, chris was nearly there, jamieson and i worked on a puzzle, and richard commented on South Park, then he helped us with the puzzle (he worked on the cows.)
we went home around 12.
Saturday i worked. for dinner, i went out with Steve, Antony, Eric, StevenMarks, and Christina. we went to cimona's. i had a salad.
afterwards i went home. i think i played sims uni. i had some chicken soup. i went to bed.
Sunday i worked. i went grocery shopping again. i went out to dinner with Maren. we went to milestones. I had salad. We watched Firefly. we walked the dog. we watched firefly. it was late and i went home.
its nice to spend time with my sister. i love geeking it up with her. she's like, my sci-fi buddy. *yays*
but yeah.
i can't remember what happened on thursday. i can't. i'm sorry if i did something with someone and i can't remember. i'm totally blanking right now. i should eat something.

Okok, Serenity? it was good. I actually saw the movie before i got all crazy fangirly and watched the series. but it was still good. i'm going to buy it eventually. {side note: the bloopers? so fucking funny. they're all so hilarious.}
but The Cutting Edge Sequel?????? WHO THE FUCK WROTE THAT STORY AND WHAT KIND OF CRACK WERE THEY ON???? I went in thinking it was going to be a bad movie, but good. kind of like Cry Baby. [you all know how much I love bad movies]. but no. this movie just sucked. it was the most craptastic movie ever. it's on par with Dark Kingdom: The Dragon King. [yes, i watched that. *hangs head down in shame* ] but anyway. Ok 1) Check your timelines!!!! The movie was made, like, 15 years after the original. this means Doug and Kate CANNOT HAVE A DAUGHTER THAT IS 20-SOMETHING!!!! THAT DOESN'T WORK UNLESS THEY HAVE SOME WEIRD TIME-TRAVEL THINGY OR AN AGE-INDUCER THING-A-MABOB!!!! OK? and 2) where the hell was all the skating??? i saw glimpses. but barely. like, the original was amazing. i love it. i love it dearly. it was funny, there was skating, and snarking, and toe-picks and lots of good stuff. character development. watching them connect as they skate. AS THEY SKATE!!!!
but this movie? it sucked. just plain and simple. sucked. i thought it would have some redeeming characteristics, but no. no. i mean, Alex? sure, he looked good without his shirt on, but that only counts for so much. and it didn't count enough. cuz this movie was really, really bad. just trust me on this. i'd sum up, but it hurts my brain to think about. like, the whole 'I love you' thing at the end of the movie worked for the original. not so much for the sequel.
i was severly disappointed.
