ZOMG! THIS IS SOOOOOOO COOL!
WEJUSTGOTAFLATSCREENLCDHDTV!!! AND IT KICKS SO MUCH ASS!!!
(me and daddy joked about calling mom up and saying that we were gonna stay home and watch tv for the long weekend.) because, seriously? the picture is, like, a gazillion times better. me and dad were both really impressed. it is so much different than regular tv. the picture is so much sharper. dad said it was like being there.
but yes. i just had to share the news. (well, 'just' as in, after watching it for an hour or so.)
we are giving our old tv to nana this weekend, since hers is all screwy or something. we were gonna get her a new one, then mom was all, why don't we get a flat screen? (yeah, my MOM asked for a flat screen before my dad got one. that's weird. and now he's all excited cuz now we can get CBC on an HD channel and he was all, Hockey, on HDTV. [ *drools* ] {i made up the drooling part, but he so was.} )
but yeah. i'm excited. even if i don't know how to work the new dvd player (well, i can't get the picture up, so i'm all confuzzeled and i have to wait til mares gets back so we [she] can figure it out. )
but yeah. i'm excited. *yays*
